The report, prepared by the EEA/EIONET National Focal Point PL, located in the CIEP, concerns the year 2011 but in key problems also the period until May 2012.
The seventh 'Environment for Europe' Ministerial Conference was held on 21 - 23 September 2011 in Astana, Kazakhstan. To support the Conference the European Environment Agency produced a report entitled ‘Europe’s Environment – An Assessment of Assessments’.
On the 29th of June 2011 the Management of the Ministry of the Environment accepted the information of the Chief Inspector of Environmental Protection on the cooperation with the European Environment Agency in 2010.
On the 23th of June 2011 in Copenhagen European Environment Commissioner Janez Potočnik delivered a speech to the European Environment Agency Management Board on the role of the EEA in a light of new environmental policy challenges.
