On the 13th of June 2008 the EEA representatives, including EEA Executive Director, visited Ministry of Environment and Chief Inspectorate for Environmental Protection.

Jacqueline McGlade, EEA Executive Director, was assisted by:

• Barbara Clark - International Cooperation Project Manager,
• Dorota Jarosińska - Environment and Health Project Manager and Country Desk Officer
• Paweł Kaźmierczyk - Material Flows Project Manager

Ms McGlade met with the Minister of Environment, Mr Maciej Nowicki. During the meeting in the Ministry of Environment, attended by the Ministry Management, Chief Inspectorate for Environmental Protection Management and Institute of Environmental Protection representatives, participants discussed sharing environmental information problems and challenges. One of the speaker was the Chief Inspector for Environmental Protection, Mr Andrzej Jagusiewcz, who also chaired the meeting and presented activities of Polish Inspection for Environmental Protection. The EEA delegation visited also Voivodship Inspectorate for Environmental Protection in Warsaw. Ms McGlade also gave an interview to Polish Radio Programme 1.
